Class BBQ Again and Chem lesson

Hey all.
Please be reminded that there will be Chemistry extra lesson tomorrow from 10 am to 11.30am. Please also be reminded to

bring your thermometer

for temperature taking for the lesson tomorrow. This is quite crucial as mentioned in the relay message that you received from Mr Lim the other day. (Hopefully you receive lol)

Anyway the Class BBQ has been settled.
Please come over to Mong's place at 6pm on the 11 June 2009(Thursday). His address is Hillington Green at Hillview Avenue. Please give him a call when you reach the place so he can fetch you in for the BBQ.
And the BBQ will cost around $15 per person(MAX. this is an estimation) so remember to pay up on that day itself.
If not no money no food LOL.

Hello all.

We have decided that our class BBQ will be on next week. However, I would need all of you to vote on a day that you are able to make it. Most likely, the BBQ will be held in the evening at Mong's Condo in Hillview Avenue. More details will post up in a few days time.

Hello all!
Please be reminded that there is make up lesson for math tomorrow from 3 pm to 4 pm!
There will also be a make up lesson for H1 Physics students on Tuesday from 2 pm to 3 pm and followed by a make up lesson for chemistry from 3 pm to 4 pm.

Homework that is due tomorrow are the outline of GP essay "Economic success does not necessarily reflect a healthy society" And also Econs Case Study 1 for lecture tomorrow. If you are wondering where the Econs Case Study 1 is obtained, please get it from the portal under the "Econs MYE package".

There is also a temperature taking exercise tomorrow, please remember to bring your thermometer. It is best to put your thermometer into your bag now! (:

Here is the homework for the long weekend.

GP - Essay (pick a topic to write on from the English week worksheet you received)
If you have lost it somehow or another, be responsible and ask for questions from your peers.

Maths - Transformation tutorial.
At least complete it up to question 8.

Chemistry - Finish up your Gaseous State tutorial.

Econs - Finish up the case study in the Cost & Production tutorial.
Try even if you don't know how to do.

History - Rewrite the history test essay.

All work are due on TUESDAY, 12 May 2009.

This coming week is also a test hectic week!

Tuesday - GP essay test, Maths Function Quiz
Thursday - Econs timed assignment on Cost & Production
Friday - Maths level test on Maclaurin's Series, Binomial Theorem and Graphing Techniques

Please study for your tests!

Anyway if all of you have realised, the mid years exam are actually coming really soon! We have less 3 weeks to our GP exam and H1 exam. Therefore, please prepare for our coming mid year exams!

Regarding what Miss Wu told us today, I sincerely hope that everyone would reflect upon it. Whatever we have done, we may not notice it. However, it must have definitely hurt someone in the process which caused them to lodge a complaint for our class.

PLEASE!

Talk softly if you wanna talk in class. (we talk or laugh too loud at times in our own conversation during tutorials)
Don't be rude to our tutors. Give a minimum amt of respect that our tutors deserve. (we may sound aggressive in our tone when talking to tutors)
Refrain from sleeping in tutorials. (I know you're tired but try to stay awake)
Pay attention in class.
Hand in tutorials on time! (have a better time management. prioritise on the more important work)
Don't pon tutorials or lectures.

Even if you are not doing all this for yourself, at least please do it for Miss Wu. She has been taking the hit and was dragged down along with us to the abyss due to our irresponsible actions. Everyone knows that Miss Wu loves our class. So I sincerely hope that we will not give her trouble again with our actions.

On a lighter note, there will be GP Mass media quiz on package 1 tomorrow.
Please get your maths functions tutorial, chem's gaseous state tutorial and practical worksheet done for tomorrow! And hand in your econs file for checking to Pei Wen by tomorrow!

HELLO PEEPS.

It seems like the flu + fever + cough + whatever monstrous virus is passing around the school due to the irritating and extremely hot weather. More of us are getting sick one by one including myself!

So I appeal to all..
Please give yourself plentiful of rest and drink lots and lots of water.

I know it is difficult as more tests, tutorials, PW and your CCA commitments are piling in. And I know this is just the beginning, things are going to get worse all the way from now to MID YEARS and even to PROMOS. So please make use of your weekends well, take a longer rest for your weekend and catch up with school work, tests and your relationship with friends!

LOL! PERSERVE!

On the other note, the sales in Green Bazaar was successful! I thank you for all of your support and our friends' support. Without them, we can't really earn back our capital! Yay! This is kinda like the first major project that I have in hand, so I'm sorry if you peeps think that I didn't do a good job! I need to thank Miss Wu as well for running up and down just to allow us to get into the office and get our stocks to sell.

Individually, we maybe a imperfect puzzle piece, with lots of bends and curls. However, when we come together as a class, we are a perfect puzzle. Enjoying your short holiday so far? School starting in 2 days time ): And it kinda suck isn't it. Haha. Anyway Please remember to complete your holiday assignments! As for GP, I think everyone just do a reflection on any article from the Newsweek. We may not be right but at least we did something. So please do a reflection for the Newsweek article.

Though only half of the class attended, we had lots of fun and enjoyed ourselves!
